Vascular Surgeon Visits MH
Dr. Daniel J. McGraw, MD, visited Minnie Hamilton Health System May 11,
2011 to provide information to our Physicians and staff.
Dr. McGraw is on staff at
Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital and is board certified in vascular surgery.
He pioneered the use of minimally invasive technology for the treatment
of vascular disease in the Mid-Ohio Valley, performing the first
endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair over a decade ago.
Since then, other first have included: the endovascular repair of
thoracic aortic aneurysms, stenting of carotid artery and great vessel
stenosis, atherectomy, cryoplasty and stenting for lower extremity arterial
disease, and endovenous therapy for lower extremity venous disease, ulcers,
and most recently DVT. As Well,
at CCMH, they have built the area’s only dedicated vascular suite, putting
cath lab imaging in an operating room environment, and have staffed in with
a dedicated team of nurses.
Today, while employing traditional vascular surgery techniques and new
technology, his practice is one of the largest single surgeon practices in
the United States.

Undiagnosed and untreated, sleep apnea can lead to serious health problems such as high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes, and has been associated with depression, diabetes, and sexual dysfunction.
